World premiere of “… alors, la trompette de l’Ange retentira.” for natural trumpet and grand organ by Jean-Louis Couturier, on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at the Val-de-Grâce church, performed by Jean-François Madeuf on natural trumpet and Hervé Desarbre on organ.

The first performance of this work concluded an original program featuring lesser-known and rarely performed pieces by Louis Ganne, René Vierne, Jehan Alain, Manuel de Falla… highlighting regulation instruments such as the cavalry trumpet, infantry bugle, military drum, and timpani.

Also participating were trumpeter Jean-Daniel Souchon, percussionist Benoît Melun, and a second organist, Adrien Levassor.
